Khatif Meaning

Khatif – is the sail, or the act of raising the sail in the Dhaw.

The Arabian Gulf, was always a historical trading post, Kuwait in particular was famous for its trading and venture into new and untapped territories. Kuwait’s merchants, aboard traditional wooden dhows – would set sail (Khatif) from the Arabian Gulf; seeking to trade their wares and secure their fortune.

Today, the word Khatif also conveys another, separate meaning: Khatif is the arrow that swiftly flies through the air to unfailingly hit its target. This epitomizes our business.
